Question About Selling & Renting
Our daily rates have a minimum stay of two weeks and our mid to long term rates have a minimum stay of three months. Feel free to reach out to us about an upcoming stay and we would be happy to confirm length of stay and pricing.
At Lixa Homes, we like to think of our apartments as your second home. We make you feel at home when you are away from home because who needs the stress when relocating! Renting a Lixa Homes apartment in Accra is a great alternative to staying in a hotel. If you prefer privacy, having a larger space and the comforts of home to return to each day, then staying with us can be the ideal choice for you. All our apartments are turn-key with furniture, linens, modern amenities and outfitted with fully equipped kitchens. We make you the priority.
It depends on the current vacancy of the apartment. If it is occupied during the requested weeks or months you would like to stay with us, we will be unable to book your reservation.
We have a first come first serve reservation policy but there may be an option to hold the apartment for a short time. If you want to book the apartment, we cannot hold the apartment until you have signed rental agreement and made payment. We reserve the right to remove the hold on the apartment if we have not received a signed agreement and deposit. We will notify you of this prior to do doing so.
For stays of 3 months or longer, we may be able to hold the apartment between two weeks and one month. For example, if you contact us on June 1st but you will not be arriving to Ghana until June 15th for four-month stay, we can secure those dates starting June 15 th . If you are staying with us for one year, we can hold the apartment for up to a month. For example, if you contact us on June 1 st. but will not start tenancy until July 1st we can hold the apartment with tenancy starting July 1st. This hold will also be based on a signed agreement.
We have basic and all-inclusive monthly pricing. Basic pricing includes HOA and water. All-inclusive includes all utilities (electricity, cable, Wi-Fi, water) weekly cleaning and HOA. Our daily rates (min. stay of 2 weeks) are all inclusive.
We have a strict no cancellation policy. If you need to cancel:
- For short stays (3 months or less) – all amounts paid will be forfeited
- Mid to long term – all amounts paid will be forfeited UNLESS we are able to re-rent the property for your dates. If we can re-rent the apartment, then a re-letting fee (stated on rental agreement) will be deducted from amounts paid. The re-letting charge is not a Lease Contract cancellation fee or buyout fee. It is a liquidated amount covering only part of our damages, that is, our time, effort, and expense in finding and processing a replacement tenant.
If you decide to rent an apartment with us and the dates are available, we will send you an email with the application form and our rental agreement. Once you have submitted the signed agreement, we will counter sign and send you the fully signed completed agreement. Once agreed upon payment has been made you, we will send you confirmation tenancy and payment receipt.
We do require a one month’s security deposit for all stays. This payment will be included in your overall required payment when completing the rental agreement. If there is any damage up on checking out, we will send you documentation of damages and costs which will be deducted from your security deposit. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you within 30 days.

We have property management on site. There will be someone to meet you. He or she will greet you and do a walkthrough check in, give you keys and show you what you need to know so you enjoy your apartment. You will also have a checkout walk through of the apartment at the end of your stay
We offer a flexible leasing agreement for corporations. To avoid multiple rental agreements, we have a flexible leasing terms whereby you can sign a corporate rental agreement for a specified amount of time and your incoming employees can stay in the apartment consecutively. For example, if you have an employee staying from January to March and another from April through August, your organization can simply rent the apartment from January to August (one rental agreement/lease) and have the two employees stay there consecutively.
